Current Openings

DSP/Software/HW/Embedded Engineers (All Levels) 

We are a Signal Processing / RF analysis company. Our niche primarily uses signal processing languages (C++ and Python) to perform RF reverse engineering through signal processing, Electronic Warfare, and electronic attack using Software Defined Radios, FPGA, and embedded devices. We are developing next-generation EW capabilities for the Warfighter, applying cutting-edge machine learning (ML) and digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms to the evolving Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) domain. Cognitive EW technologies and distributed processing will be essential to address the current and near-future array of advanced EMS signals to support the Warfighter.


Qualified individuals will gain experience in the complete product development life cycle, including requirements definition, system design, implementation, algorithm development, verification, and maintenance of next-generation EW systems.


Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s (preferably, Master’s) Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

· In-depth understanding of digital communication, radar systems design and theory, and RF signal processing

· 3-5 years experience with C/C++, X-MIDAS, Python, or JAVA within Unix/Linux programming environments

· Active TS/SCI Clearance (US Citizenship Required)

· Comfortable with minimal oversight within a flat, collaborative management organization and a willingness to take initiative


Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with EW and Radar systems

· Experience with C/C++, Python, or CUDA within Unix/Linux programming environments

· Familiarity with SDRs, GPUs, FPGA System On Chip (SoC), and RF System on Chip (RF SoC) architectures

· Machine learning experience implementing neural networks and other architectures

  • Payperiod TimeFlex - Employees can adjust their work hours within a month to accommodate their personal needs or schedule, but the total number of hours worked in that month will remain the same. For example, if an employee needs to take a more extended lunch break one day, they can make up for it by working an extra hour on another day during that same pay period. This allows employees to balance their work and personal life while meeting their work obligations. Hydra follows monthly pay periods.
